My husband would have a time processing what and where to go for what I may need. But, he knows what prints and colors go the best together when I am charting a new quilt. Darn it, he is usually right!!

My DH hasn't offered to pick up quilting supplies, but since I've had hip replacement surgery, he gets my TED hose (support stockings) on every morning for me. He's definitely a keeper! He's getting his own quilt as soon as I can sit long enough at a time to do some sewing...I'm thinking of doing the Jelly Roll Classic Sampler Quilt, but will use the twelve blocks as the center, and add wider borders to make a larger quilt.

I've had "JUST enough" of the feature fabric for a quilt and when I finished the last block, I accidentally rotary cut into previously sewn blocks. (Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!) So I had to find a creative way to fix that mess. There was no more fabric to be had. Lucky you.

I doubt I could get my husband to step foot inside a fabric store, he'd be lost. I have to get my own supplies if I need them. You're so lucky your husband is so supportive 'cause mine isn't.

You ladies are as lucky as I am to have our husbands.

MIne also shops with me for quilt fabric and has stopped to pick up something for me at LQS on his way home.

He also does most of the grocery shopping and does all the vacuuming, including my sewing room! Of course, he does have field-trial dogs that come into the house and shed like crazy. LOL

I don't complain about dog hair and he vacuums two or three times a week.

We are a lucky bunch!

Wow, my DH would never do that. He would pick up other things, but no way would he attempt to get a fabric from a fabric store. Kudos to your DH!
