Has anyone tried this product for transferring patterns?

I have used something like this, not sure of the brand though as it's stashed on a shelf.
I just use a wash-away pen to trace on the mesh, then onto the fabric. Will try a Frixion pen next time.
Have also used a good stiff tuille (netting), it gives the same result.

This design transfer method is similar to one i saw using netting. I thought it would be a great idea, but I gave up on that one quickly. It was too messy leaving dots of marker all over me and I was afraid it would make a mess of my fabrics.
This one looks a little more rigid and easier to handle. I suppose a piece of screening might even be preferable to the netting.

have you read all the reviews and warnings about the Frixon pens. The statement from the company is most interesting. They disavow using it on fabric, says it was never intended for fabric. I would chance using one on my quilt for drawing the quilting design. perhaps to mark the patchwork shapes but never somewhere you would see it. It may disappear but can come back in normal use and might even leave a shadow mark on some colors of fabric.
