EmiliasNana - that is a wonderful quilt. I too like Warm Wishes. It can look so different depending on fabric placement.

A giant 9 patch works well for a quick quilt. I'd add some white to the red and blue and go for it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am trying to not buy more fabric. What i have I will never be able to use all. I found some simple applique patterns that finish in a 12" sq. I plan on using steam a seam and blanket stitch around the edges.. Easy and quick for me. Will do a minimal FMG. I have yards of reds and blues to will sash the sq.'s with the found fabrics. Please don't think my chemo is really bad. It is not. I have been on a light chemo dose for 13 years now trying to save my kidneys. I am having trouble this year with the side effects and considering changing chemo type.
Still up in the air but getting real "tired of being sick". No energy, pain lots of water retention so my sight is poor, etc. Need to pick myself up by boot strings and get back in the swing of things. Love your pics of quilts. Makes me want to go shopping.lol

Carol, you have been given great ideas. Stay well. I really like stf's post and quilt. So colorful. Not a lot of cutting and saves on matching seams. May "borrow" it myself.

do a rag quilt with bright flannels I'm sure they have flannels with trucks on them. It's quilt as you go and you can do it in a few days
