Default the heart wants what the heart wants..

went looking for the treadle parts for my new redeye and found the most unusual cabinet with an Italian singer machine in it. not sure but I think it is a 15 clone. it has a serial number of MA552914 which I don't find listed. gears move smoothly.. has the bobbin .. needs some derusting and cleaning but overall not in bad shape. but the cabinet is what I fell in love with . it is a treadle with a wooden foot control. I am soooooo tempted to put my other 66 that has the hand crank in it. would need to make a slight adjustment to the mounting area but would not be hard to do..

I don't collect I don't collect I don't collect. wahhhhh I need the 12 step program....

a bit picture heavy but they are small..

I'm a sucker for a pretty cabinet - and that one is very pretty!

It's how I've ended up with too many singer 15's - they came with pretty cabinets

No wonder you couldn't pass it up with those beautiful embellished deers. Have fun refurbishing it.

That looks like Marquetry, is it? Have to wonder if the cabinet is a custom built one of a kind. I think I would have made room for it too.

Very unusual -- such a great find! Hope I never find anything like that - it is irresistable!

Melmerr1, that cabinet is beautiful! No wonder you couldn't resist it! It's a good thing I didn't see one like that! Congratulations on your cabinet!

I like both! It's a very neat cabinet and how often do you see an Italian Singer here?
