I am struggling. I have already SID with clear thread along the narrow border lines. It did not make the diamonds pop as I had desired. How should I quilt it?

I have a short arm and frame so can put it on the frame to do the borders. I was thinking of feathers, but have not learned how to do them...yet!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Your quilt is beautiful. I cannot help with how to quilt it, but I am sure you will come up with something lovely.

I love your colors. I like metalic colored thread, but it can be hard to work with.

Maybe your batting isn't lofty enough to pop out the designs. You may have to stipple around them to achieve that effect.
Your quilt is beautiful :D:D:D

Sometimes the batting will poof up after it has been washed and dried. That's only one possibility. I do not know for sure. Sorry. Beautiful quilt regardless!

I love your quilt. Can't help you though in how you decide to quilt your quilt, sorry. I was thinking maybe a dark thread. Good luck.

Your quilt is stunning, love the stain glass effect. Maybe if you 1/4" from the stitching you already did, or 1/4" on either side of the seams it would make it pop! As for the borders, I think crosshatch diamonds would be cool. Regardless of whatever you decide, it is beautiful.
