I have had EQ6 for a couple of years now, and I know I haven't used it anywhere close to what it is capable of. I have learned the basics and it is wonderful. I have many questions about it, but for right now my main concern is how do I put the fabrics I plan to use in my quilt into the program. So far I have just used their library of fabrics and used whatever was close to my fabrics, but sometimes there is really nothing close. Any help would be soooo appreciated.

There are a couple of ways you can import fabric.
1 - scan the actual fabric and save as .jpg files. In EQ6, go to Libraries - Fabric Library and at the bottom, choose Import - from Image Files and go get the files you saved.
2 - go to the EQ website and dowload free fabrics. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Here's a link: http://www.electricquilt.com/Users/D...ds/palette.asp
3 - many fabric manufacturers provide free downloads of their fabrics. If you subscribe to the EQ newsletter, you will receive links in the newsletter.
Soon, you will have more than you know what to do with!
