Help I've cut a tiny hole in my backing

Could you possibly put a small thin fabric over it-with fusible backing, iron it on, then place your quilt label near it? I have done this before, so don't fret too much! It does happen! I have been able to slip a thin iron on patch behind the backing, done a couple of really small sewing stitches using light weight thread and a very small needle, then put the quilt label near it. The hand stitching around the label went near the 'hole' and I could barely see that a teeny tiny mistake was done. Best of Luck!

I'll post a picture when I've got it put back together. At least the seams are lining up better. I've bled on it--got the blood out with cold water, cut the hole which I patched and sewn this part three times. Sure hope my GD appreciates it. Couldn't have done it with out the people on this board. Wouldn't have tackled it with out the things I've learned here. I love you all.
