Default Help looking for Bargello pattern

While going through the board the other day, various links took me to a site, Bargello Quilts. I spotted a pix of "A Long & Winding Road" Bargello quilt. Seems somebody on the board showed a pix of it. The Bargello Quilt site said its a free pattern but I cannot get any info about how to get it. I've been looking for a just right quilt to make for a special friend & this is it. I'd even buy it but can't find it anywhere
Can any of you help me find it? I'd appreciate it so much.

Thanks, Pat

Hi there, a quick google search took me to a blog which says the pattern came from a magazine called The Quilter, from around 2003. Hope that helps some.......
Cheers, Kate

Does this help.- The pattern is Long and Winding Road from the January 2004 The Quilter magazine. The pattern is by Patti Carey for Northcott/Monarch.

Quick! There's one on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Quilter-...#ht_962wt_1161
If this issue is gone, you will just have to keep checking new listings, or post a request in the 'in search of...' area of this board as the magazine is no longer in publication.

Here's a link to that quilt on Pintrest. You may be able to get more info there. Good luck!

I checked out the patterns in this issue but it doesn't have "Long and Winding Road" in it
Thanks though.

Hi I have an issue of The Quilter magazine January 2004.
http://www.amazon.com/Quilter-Magazi.../dp/B003GPR7U2
The pattern is on page 92. It is done in Northcott Abbey Road collection. Hope this helps. I bought my copy on eBay.

Default Thanks for help in finding pattern

I want to thank "jj"go her help in finding the magazine that has the Bargello pattern I was searching for. Others contributed to the search too & I am grateful.

Finding the pattern now is helpful because I can shop for fabrics while I'm still in this location. I have sold my home of 41 yrs so life is in limbo right now. I'll be returning to my little home in Ariz for the winter to an area with very little fabric sources. I want to make this quilt for a special person who has helped me through this rough process.

Thank you all.

Hey Pat, I am happy I could help. What part of AZ?? I would visit my Dad in the 80s. He lived just west of Tombstone. Get ready for some heat down there.
