    Default Help! Need Ideas.

My daughter asked me to make her a baby quilt. Her only requirements were for it to be lavender and with butterflies. Do any of you wonderful ladies have any ideas?

Autumn Tints 2 from Quilterscache.com works well, as does Warm Wishes. The focus fabric in both could have butterflies in that, and different hues of lavender be the accent pieces.

It depends on what you want to do! Do you want to applique, piece butterflies, or use butterfly prints?

I was just on the Thousand of Bolts site, and they had this beautiful lavender piece with butterflies in the juvenile section, priced at just $4.85 a yd. Shipping at $3.95..

Whatever you decide, this is an ideal time to add embroidered butterflies to the quilt.
