I have a cutter that makes hundreds of one inch squares. But is a postage stamp quilt one inch or are they one and a half? I have never done a mini but I have a chance to. Maybe a tiny trip around the world?

It can be what you want it to be. Personally I would do a 3/4 inch postage stamp quilt, but I have been told many times that I am not "right" LOL

if you want yours to be 1" then make it 1" no one here is going to tell you- you can not-should not-if that's what you want to do-

funny you bring this up= i was going through a (mystery box) last week and came across a tiny basket- containing many many tiny squares- all with pinked edges (about 1/2" squares) a few of them are sewn together into 9-patches---they are sooooo CUTE!
i dont' know when i will get to them- but they are sure (inspiring?) :)

I know of some ladies from my guild that used them as in an eye spy quilt that was 12 x 12. They put them in their purses for when they have the grandbabies in the car as a game for them to play with.

Look for the "Oh MY Gosh" quilt pattern. I believe it takes 1 inch squares?
