1 inch squares would really make me crazy - it would be the matching the corners that would send me off to the funny farm.

Yes, a postage stamp or TATW would great in 1" (but like Kwhite, not quite as good as one made out of 3/4" <g> )

It does, and you could do it that way ... but it's made to be strip pieced. I've got that one going now.

Mine are 2cm finished, because at the time, I could only find metric graph paper! It's very much a work in progress, as I only do it when I want a change from my current project. You can do anything any size you want

I would use them for specific areas of the quilt, like where I wanted shading or something very very busy looking. There isn't really a law that says you have to limit yourself to an entire quilt.

You may not be right, but you certainly are in good company!!! I am honored to stand out there with you. I have now made 7 postage stamp sized TATWs. And and now working on making 9Ps for sashing cornerstones that finish at a whopping 1 1/2 inches!!
