I was just to a quilt show this weekend where there was a quilt made with 1,000 1 inch squares. They were made up into a nine patch then sewn together.

stitchengramie--there are several threads about 1.5 " swaps/charm/postage quilts going on the board. Search for 1.5" or 1 1/2 and see what you come up with. I am working on a 9P charm with 1.5 cut squares right now.

ask these "know it alls" how large is a postage stamp (the real one).
I get uptight about these folk who will argue abut 1/2"
A postage stamp quilt is a small square. While many were 1" finished, I don't know who or when set the standard other than it is a small square. So sew those up and wave it in the faces of those who say is is wrong.
