Hi Everyone,
So, I have finally made enough money to get a new sewing machine to replace my dearly loved Lola. She just doesn't want to continute to work anymore :( We've had a great 5 years together!
I thought I was going to get a Brother CS6000i...but after reading the 1 star reviews on Amazon..I think I have decided that this machine will not work for me.
First of all, if it's a plastic chassis filled with styrofoam..I don't think that will last very long! I've also read many review saying they had problems with the button-hole function...which is a very important function for me!
Basically, I need a machine that will to FMQ and button holes for $300...
Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need to get a new machine fast! I have many things I need to get completed this month and I am running out of time to do it in!
Please Help!

Singer is now made by Husqyarna Viking and they make a quilting machine that is very inexpensive...There is the Confidence Quilter and that was less than $300. I have heard there is a quilters dream for less than $500. Go on Google and put in sewing machines.

I heard that commercial Singers weren't very reliable, which is why I haven't been looking at them.
I have done a LOT of searches for sewing machines...a lot of research....so much so that my head is spinning LOL
