HELP! Need ideas for a baby boy quilt.
Once again I come to my virtual quilting club... with hopes that you'll have some good ideas for me.
I need a boy quilt for a very special baby boy. Friends of ours have tried several times to have a baby, each time resulting in a miscarriage. She is now in her 9th month and everything is looking GREAT - but I don't have a lot of time to come up with a great quilt.
I have been thinking on this all day - and I really don't want to do a trip around the world type of quilt.
Any and all suggestions or ideas will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Someone shared a site that gives a quick way to do the attic window block with a feature fabric. The site was http://quilteddelights.blogspot.com..............I didn't copy the whole address but maybe you can go to the site and check attic window tutorials?

i did two quilts a couple yrs ago for the local hospital's nursery. I used flannel which was printed Its A Boy and Its a Girl
I used the design I call Three Little Pieces - rectangles cut 3"x5.5" Two straight up and one across the top with rows reversed. It is quick, easy and looks good in any fabric. Added a border and had it made and quilted in the ditch in a couple days.

You could always find a nice panel and add borders and then make a really special quilt for his first birthday. I make these baby quilts and sell them as I always seem to have people ask me for these gifts.
