Default Honest opinion needed on another Dresden Plate

I stitched this while making my other plate but I am not real sure of the colors. Does it need some red and yellow? To me it seems sort of blah. If it looks ok I will go ahead with it but Please comment.

I like the colors --- scrappy dresdens are so cool. I made one out of a charm pack, put it on various neutrals and it really pops.

I love it like it is, but if you think it needs something else, maybe a Yellow centre I would, don't forget to show what you decide on. well done.

Dresdens are my favorite. This one is true scrappy. I vote don't change it. I like heather's idea to add a nice color center if you'd like.

There are so many factors to consider. Is this the background fabric that we see here? Is this just one of several plates on a quilt? If so, how does it compare with the others? Where are you going to use it? What is the color palette there? I can imagine it being perfect as is in certain settings. I can imagine a whole quilt of sort of neutral plates, depending on the factors I just mentioned. I do think heather's suggestion of a yellow center is a good one.

Personally, I like it-- but it's your quilt, and I've always found that if my spidey sense is telling me something, I really should listen to it. The times I haven't, well, I just never really fell in love with those projects.

I was thinking the same thing. It looks good. Maybe you can lay them out on different backgrounds and see what you need to add. One of these days I'm going to make one of these. I have all the templates for various quilt patterns and plenty of fabric.

Be sure and let us see when you finish.

I see a bit of unbalance...darker corner....lower right side...I would break that up a bit....switch some of lighter ones fron top in between. Just me
