I am making a chinese coins quilt. The material I am using for the sashing is not long enough so I will have to sew 2 pieces together. Is there anything special I need to do to join these 2 pieces?

I always sew mine at a 45 degree angle. It works best for me.

I agree with littlehud-sew at an angle. Looks better-not so obivious.
