Cool I love estate sales... my first FW cabinet

I had only seen one of these....ever....on ebay for $750 for the cabinet by itself. Way too expensive for me. And I already have the FW so I didn't need that. But I got up at 5am yesterday and sat in my car wrapped up in a wool blanket to be number 1. And I got it!! They sold it as a set so now I have 2 FWs. That's okay because I really love my first FW. I just love estate sales... when I get what I want.

The FW sets in the space made for it when you want to sew and when you want to put it away, there is a shelf below that stores the machine and foot pedal. The top has wood pieces that 'fit' into the FW opening and it is supposed to look like a side table when it's closed up. The top has some water damage but that's okay. I have old doilies that will cover that up. I'm so excited ..... had to share my good fortune.

Oh my!! What a wonderful find! I admire you being willing to get up early and sit in the car with a blanket!

Can I be nosy? How much? (and no...you don't have to answer!)

I don't mind telling you what I paid, Charlee. It was $250 and there was a sewing box full of thread, buttons, seam tape, etc. as well. Like I said, I'm so excited!!

Doing the happy dance for you. That is just adorable. I have never seen one in a cabinet. Wow, you got a great deal on it. Sorry I'm rambling, just excited for you.

Oh my what a find. You are so lucky. I want a nice FW so bad I can taste it. But my small small budget says just look and wish but do not touch. Enjoy setting at it and sewing on it. It is just lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
