This sweetest lady at church has like 6 little ones and is due NOW with a baby boy. I have been caught up with other projects but would still like to make her a quick boy quilt. Helppp!!!!!! I am drawing a blank. It doesn't help either that I do not have baby boy fabric. I would like to use stash but still have a baby look to the quilt. Normally my head is full of ideas but I am drawing a blank with this one.

Quickest thing is fleece tie quilt (can use two different fabrics for front and back). Also, I have fairly busy prints that can be backed with something simple and tied. You could also use flannel to make a "tag" blanket, where you put layers of flannel together with satin pieces along border. Quick and easy.
