Saw the news clip. Grew up in SW Iowa, can't wait to go to Hamilton next summer when I go home for a visit.

My girlfriend and our husbands went up in Sept and it is a wonderful shop. I love what she is doing for that town... That is a wonderful feel good story.

Just watched your NBC link and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure which one is you but you all look like you're having a great time. I also read the article in the Wall Street Journal about Jenny. I LOVE her success story and what it's doing for Hamilton.Go Jenny go!

I did see Jenny Doan on the news last week. This past Saturday she came to Shawnee, Ks. Enjoyed watching and listening to her. She brought her daughter with her to help in displaying her quilts. I had asked, "What percentage of the quilts does she piece, her daughter said that she starts in the morning and can make 2 quilt tops in a day." She uses layer cakes, charm packs and jelly rolls. all pre-cuts. So she doesn't have to cut fabric yardage except for the borders. If there is anyone who hasn't heard of her or seen any of her tutorials you can go to youtube.com and type in Missouri Star Quilting.
