Hello all, I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I am in the middle of a handpiecing project for which I'm using Kona Unbleached Muslin that I purchased from JoAnn's. They didn't have enough yardage so I just bought about half of what I needed. When I went back for more they'd stopped carrying it! Now I'm searching online for the product. It looks like the JoAnn's Kona was manufactured by Robert Kaufman but all I can find by him is Kona Muslin "Natural". Does anyone know if that's the same product as his Kona Muslin "Unbleached"?

Here's the Ocean Waves project I'm working on. Taking FOREVER!!!!

You might check Hobby Lobby if there is one near you. I know they have Kaufman Kona cottons and they also have muslins.

They told me they had the Kona cottons but not the muslins. She tried to convince me that they are the same but I don't think so, do you?

They are not the same. The premium muslin has a 200 thread count. I don't think the Kona solids are as fine. From what I've seen on Kaufman's site, it comes in natural or bleached white.

The JoAnn's here has some, they say. She said she'd put some back for me. How much do you need and what width? I'll be glad to get it for you.

BJ -- that would be great! I think 2 yards of the 44" would be enough. Do you have a coupon? I'll PM you my address and then send you a check!

Ok, I've got it on hold for you. As soon as the icy streets clear, I'll go get it.
