I have a desire to make a scrappy flying geese quilt using unbleached muslin for the sky, background, and back. I've never bought unbleached muslin and I want a really good one, not junk. Do you have any suggestions for manufacturer or where to purchase? What should I expect to pay? What should I look for?

Thanks for your help,
MJ

I love Kona. Joanns carries it, so when on sale, or w/ a coupon, I stock up

I think Roclon is a very good muslin. I've used bolts & bolts of it.

I buy ecology cloth from Bellwether Dry Goods. Just give them a call for price and shipping. It is the best quality muslin I have ever purchased. I have recommended it to others on the board, who were also very pleased.

I discovered unbleached muslin at Joann's also and read the end of the bolt. Some of it is preshrunk.

I like Roclon premium permanent press muslin and Kona muslin. I use them both.
