    What exactly is it? How do you know if you have it in your stash?

    Bleached muslin is white, unbleached is a creamy neutral color.

    frequently, it's a rougher fabric than other fabrics (although the high quality/expensive stuff has a very nice feel to it). This is in addition to the off-white color of the fabric.
