Am interested in knowing if anyone has a long arm machine, which one, and what would you recommend? I'm new to quilting, but would like to learn and do more. Quilting them on a small machine is not the easiest.

I gave a Tin Lizzy a small test run and I thought that would be a nice set up to have.

My aunt just purchased the Voyager 17 with a Hinterberg stretch frame and simply loves it.

I have an Innova 26 which I dearly love. But being a long
arm it was pricey as they all are.

I tried a HQ sixteen at a quilting show and would love to have that one. Someday, maybe.

Hello, I am new also, I watched my grandmother quilt by hand so I knew enough that I was not going that way. A local quilt shop had Mr Floyd (owner of Tin LIzzie) in to demo the new Tin LIzzie 18LS.....I took her for a test drive and it was very, very nice.....and, a lot cheaper than others on the market. A friend had a JUki and burned it up......but, after many, many hours of sewing.....another person I know has a Juki and the throat space is very small (like a regular sewing machine) therefore, she has to roll the quilt often. Check them out on line and read about them and you'll be able to decide. I do believe that I am going for the TL18LS. Good Luck! :-D

Someday I want to get a Longarm, and a tin lizze or a Gammail is the one I'd get.
