long arm quilting
#3
Linda Taylor's book has a lot of information for a new longarmer. http://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Guide...8005413&sr=8-1
There are many different ways to load your quilt, and some of it depends on your frame. I found Sharon Schaumber's internet site very helpful, with a video on how she loads her quilts: http://sharonschambernetwork.com/fre...os/rice/a.html
I think Part 3 is the one where she actually loads the quilt, but all 3 videos are useful.
You can do a search on "how to load a quilt in a longarm" and come up with lots of information.

Handi Quilter sells a set of 3 videos by Suzanne Hyland, that take you through the loading process. She also does marking, blocks, borders and backgrounds. A very good investment and a great learning tool. You can find online at handiquilter.com or at a local rep. for HQ machines.
