Me too!!! I just sent my last research paper to my professor and am getting ready for work now. I can not wait until summer. My favorite: the soft warm breezes off the water in the afternoon. Perfect snoozing conditions. My goal is to experiment with FMQ over the summer and use up some fabric!
Thanks for posting this - I needed to think of summer!

I'm looking forward to winter again because summer is just to much heat for me. i'll be hibernating and up extra early to beat the sun and tending to the garden.

I'm with you Sandra, love the cool/cold weather, although I could do with a bit less snow than we had this past season.

I'm retired, so I have summer all year round. It feels great to not be on a schedule and do whatever I feel like. Sometimes I get up at 4am and start sewing. I borrow the neighbors dogs and go for long walks along the river.

I'm looking forward to moving North for the summer, fishing, working on finishing a hand-quilting I'm doing, entertaining friends and playing with my fur-babies in the water and enjoying the out-of-doors again.

I am retired but I still like summer. Texas summers are hot, hot, hot, but I just hibernate during the day and only come out at dusk or early morning hours.

My favorite part of summer is when the garden is all planted, and the growth is tall enough that it shades most of the weeds out... then I can sit and relax and enjoy it. Maybe.
