Hi folks! I am fairly new at quilting and may have some questions and possibly share some of my ideas and creations. I am currently working on a walker tote for our daughters walker (she is disabled) and its coming along nicely, her walker is one that goes behind her and wraps around, i am making an apple basket block for the main part of the tote and i am considering making a sectional tote that will include a zippered compartment, one with a velcro fastener but a flap with a fake buttonhole (she can't opperate buttons) and a few other different types of decorative closures for the varied compartments that i am going to add to it. She is in middle school, special ed for children with multiple disabilities and this may open up some requests to make more of these types of totes because it will leave their hands free to hold onto their walkers or it will also work on wheel chairs so that those kids who use them can also benefit from this tote, I'll post an image of it when i get it to the point of adding the backing and the different sections.
