I love the play "Quilters." It is a fascinating musical showing many aspects of quilts in American frontier life, involving birth, death, marriage, etc. It is both happy and sad. Does anyone how I can obtain a VHS or DVD of a production of this play? Thank you for any help.

For any of you in Oregon, this play will be performed in conjunction with the Sisters outdoor quilt show in July of this year. http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.o...s.htm#quilters
I went to the Sisters quilt show last year for the first time, and I definitely plan to go again this year. It is so fantastic seeing all kinds of beautiful quilts hanging outdoors. It is unlike any other quilt show I've been to.

Yes, a different one. The full name is "Quilters: The Musical." There are a number of sites online. It had a short run on Broadway some years ago and is now done in community theaters. It came out around 1985. I did look up the book mentioned by one of the responders above and will be pursuing it. I want to share the video with my genealogy class, but sure can't find one---yet. The play is a series of vignettes.
