    Found this on Craig's list wondering if it is worth the price? Any ideas the worth of the machine a cabinet?

    YES! YES! YES! Bernina 830 is a quilter's and sewer's dream machine.... See if they will do it without the cabinet if you don't need it.

    Yes, I think it's a reasonable price. I'd go look at it and try out the machine. The cabinet looks like a really handy piece to have too! And they might take less :wink:

    They still sell on EBay for aroumd eight hundred, just the machine.

    The machine itself is worth more than that. If it were me, I'd snap it up, too. You won't regret it. You should be able to get it completely serviced for under $100, I just paid $75 here in CO. It should give you years and years of pleasure and awesome sewing. The stitches are so beautiful. I have two Bernina's and wouldn't part with either of them. My oldest is a 730 Record, the one below the 830. Hope you get it if you're interested. Good luck. Let us know.
