Anyone seen a tutorial on making a tote to slip your Featherweitht case into? After taking the time to spruce up my FW case, I want to keep it from getting bumped and dinged. I could construct a case without instruction, but it would be nice to just follow a tutorial. :?: Thanks.

there are a few suggestions in a quick search on the board here, no pattern though.

I haven't see a tutorial, but I wonder if one of those recyclable Joann's bag or grocery bag would work. I think the Joann's bag is close in size.

A small carry-on bag on wheels works great. It also carries supplies. I added a little inside padding (covered foam squares) to make sure she was safe and comfortable.

my FW case had a broken handle so I just measured and did pre-quilted fabric in a square with two sturdy handles to carry it in. worked really good and protected the case. measure all around, add a couple of inches for wiggle room and then stitch up sides, square off bottom to fit. be sure to add sufficient height to take up the square botton...good luck
