Making a Queen Size Quilt
A friend of mine gave me a ton of fabric and told me to use it to make her a queen size quilt. Now, I don't mind doing so, I told her I'd have to tie it off due to not having a long arm and I can't afford to have someone do it for me.
She wants a solid color back for her quilt, I figured I'd go with black. The measurement of the quilt will be 96x96 inches... is there any place that I can find an extra wide fabric that would fit that?

That's what I'm thinking of doing. Especially since the design I'm going to do will need black fabric for the top anyways. It's a really simple design, but I think she'll love it. I can get it done two weekends anyways, cutting, sewing and tying.

www.marshalldrygoods.com is a good place to look. Fabric Shack on the internet also has some. They are 108" wide and great quality fabric.

I just looked and www.marshalldrygoods.com has 37 colors of quilter's blend that is 108" wide for $7.99 a yard. It's good heavy quality fabric.
