Well Mom or DGDs might ask why is #3's different? My response would be, she is going to be the recipient of a lot of hand me downs over the years, she needs to start out with something a little unique, but still close enough to be part of the triplet of quilts. So, snowballs it is! :thumbup:

Each baby needs it's own unique quilt. Besides if they are all together and the quilts are the same how will they know which quilt is theirs? :D

I like the snowballs. I made a quilt for every grandchild (23) and every great-grandchild (26 with 2 on the way). It's hard to remember which quilt went to which child even though I have a picture of every quilt. Each child should have one that is just for that kid and not a replica of someone elses, especially within a family.

i personally like the snow ball blocks have made 3-4 quilts and is my favorite block for a quick Quilt.
