My seam ripper and I spent the day taking apart everything I sewed yesterday and the day before. Phooey! I was putting in the sashing in my friend's scrappy quilt, and the blocks didn't line up. Phooey!

Turns out I cut some of the blocks 1/4 inch larger than the others.

But it is all back to where I started two days ago. Blocks are the same size, and onward I go!!

Let me see, I think I took a picture two days ago to send to my friend. I'll add it if I did. I think the final result is going to look good. She selected the fabric and pattern. I'm just sewing and getting better acquainted with my seam ripper. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I was feeling very discouraged earlier. I like my seam ripper and all, but I do not like spending that much time with it! This is more seam ripping than I have ever had to do, but then I am still fairly new to quilting, considering myself an advanced beginner. :)

That is such a bright and cheerful quilt.
I'm sure it will be treasured for a long time.
You're doing a good job, be sure to tell Jack the Ripper that.
