    this is beautiful! stripe and all, the story itself kept me going till the end - I so enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you for sharing

    You discovered the one thing that stripes do well at in quilting and it looks marvelous! Your story is riveting! A quilt magazine would surely be interested in using it.

    I'm not afraid of stripes, I just don't like them. Never have and still don't now that I am quilting.

    I call mistakes "character" as well. I think you did a fabulous job on your challenge, stripes and all. And I love the way you write.

    Hard to share the writing as it is usually talking to myself and memories, but sometimes I get brave. Thanks for the compliments.
