I think it turned out very pretty. I can see where you didn't think the stripes matched, I don't really care for stripes but you did a great job!

Oh, that turned out very nicely. I like the stripes too. Great Job. I wouldnt have known what to do. I have taught myself to quilt and am sure I wouldn't know where to begin given a bunch of fabric

I strongly encourage you to submit your story to be published. I really related and enjoyed a good laugh.
Ah, the fun and torture we endure for the sake of perfecting and conquering those little pieces of cotton. It's just plain hilarious, isn't it. Thanks for sharing!!

Lovely! You did a great job! There's a designer inside of you just waiting to come out! The stripe fit in quite nicely!

Your quilting is beautiful, I'm still trying to master applique after many years of trying.......and a big congratulations on your writing, you are very talented, I have had a lot of enjoyment in reading this post..........!

Thanks AnngelAnne for that funny story...I especially liked the part of getiing rid of the striped fabric. I'm still laughing and by the way your finished quilt is very pretty.

I love your quilt...and the stripe fabric works very well!!! You did good :thumbup: Of course, I've only been quilting for 3 years, did one applique wall-hanging...never again!!!!! :shock:
