Default My New baby, it a Bernina :)

OK, I have read so many neat stories about how you quilters find these outstanding sewing machine for next to nothing in resale shops. Well, I walked in my local resale shop and saw this Bernina 1230. I looked and didn't find the accessories box, the foot petal or the manual. But it was very clean, seemed to power up OK and it came with the extension table and the knee lifter. Take a look at the price. I got it for $24.98. I have a Bernina 1530 so I know the threading but where the stitches are located is very different. Going to give my 1530 a vacation at the local "spa" because she has earned it. Anybody with this model, if you can give me any hints?? I would appreciate it. Watched a u-tube video but it didn't get to the decorative stitches. Can't wait to try the serpentine stitch. I am definitely doing the happy dance!
