    Default need help fixing a machine

    I have a Euro Pro 9000. The lever for the presser foot moves but the presser foot doesnt move. I dont have a manual. Can anyone help me,What do I look for?

    It sounds like whatever controls the presser foot and the lever aren't connected anymore. Look for a loose screw or spring -- something that needs reconnected is all that I can think of. You might try putting the lever up and then trying to lift a foot. If you can do this, then look at it from underneath while doing that. Maybe you will see what needs fixed.

    Time to go machine shopping!

    Euro-Pro machines are almost impossible to find parts for. I hope you can find the part you need and someone to fix it for you if needed.

    Amazon is running some great sales on machines right now. The much loved Brother CS6000i is only 134.00 and change plus free shipping.

    There may be a set screw holding the lever to the shaft. If it fell out you will see a small hole in the shaft where it goes You'll need an hex key (allen) wrench to tighten it. . You can get a set of them at any hardware store. Get the cheapest set. I say a set because you probably won't know what size you need as Euro Pro may be metric.
