We have a quilting group at church that is about 12 -15, depending on health. They have been quilting since the 70's. I joined 3 yrs ago on my retirement. last yr we made over 800 quilts for Lutheran world relief and many local groups too. Our oldest is 92 and I am the youngest at 58. There is no whinning on my part. We meet every wednesday morning and there is soo much laughter. Quilting is truely a healing gift.

Anyway, here is Mom, and we are having lots of fun together quilting away!

What a special first Quit! But such a sad story behind it.
