    D9P is a good one but I also like the X quilt block that QB has a tutorial on. A little more difficult but real nice.

    Sorry that's not the X quilt block but "X marks the spot" by paulswalia. Go to search and type in the title for a look at it. It would look great in batiks with a black X instead of white.
