When I did denim rag quilts, I used strips of rectangles, and made sure the seam from the next strip would be in the middle of the rectangle beside it. Does that make sense? Then you don't have to match seams.

I made for my Grandson , a queen size. That thing was so heavy. I used my serger to sew it, that way it didn't move away from me. I well never make another. I haven't made any other one and I need to,tho that thing well never wear out.

It is hard to work with, but the end result (good sized 45 X 65) for qulits to be sent for ambulance duty overseas, was well worth the
pricked fingers and the almost losing my temper witht he fraying, I may just do another one. If I ever learn how to send pictures, I might send one.

You know I am with you there I still can't seam to get the hang of sending pictures. If you find out let me know how you did it.

I didnt want to wash all the blocks, So I did seams inside. and Tied rather than an quilting on it...
