Default No more printing...My pledge...how about you...

I will no longer print out free patterns from the internet. I have reams and reams of patterns in binders/folders. I have given away reams of patterns printed from the internet.

I will only bookmark patterns that I KNOW {{{wow strong language}}} I will make within the next 12 months.

I will no longer save any images of patterns that interest me.

After I have lunch I'll decided if I can live up to this pledge! LOL

Good for you! As I was packing up my sewing room today, I found that I had tons of printed out patterns from the internet! It was as overwhelming as all of the fabric was. So I will join you in this pledge!! I can keep to this I think. I'm also trying to keep myself on task with the people I want to make quilts for. I think if I work on them both at the same time that I can accomplish this goal.

a lot of patterns are taken down after a certain amount of time [esp. on the fabric manufacturer's sites] so I save them to a flash drive. I use diff bits pieces that lead to other ideas to make things...!, so I don't PRINT them, but hope there are others who sign up NOT to print & save our trees!

I said that to my family some time back, however I can't stay with it. I am 75 years old and no way can I ever even start to make them all but I am sure if I ever let one go it will be the one I will be looking for later.

I don't print them but do as QuiltnNan and save them. Every so often I go through the saved files and delete those I've changed my mind about.

I do not print patterns. I do save images of things that interest me though. I figure that with EQ7, Block Base and a few other EQ products I should be able to create anything that I want to make or find a like block to work from. I also have my Mom's collection of quilt books so between what I have I should have plenty to do for the balance of my life and then some.

No, no, can't even pretend to go along with this one. I start shaking a little just thinking about not printing all those goodies!!

Why print until you need the pattern? Disk space, however, is abundant, so I save them on disk for future use.
