I purchased a Omnigrid Offset Square Template. Their directions are not good. I started doing a sample and it is not right. Having the fabric folded wrong sided together did not work. I sent an email to Omnigrid and they came back and said it could take two weeks to get a reply. If anyone has this template and have used it, please help. The finished block looks kinda like a pin wheel.

why not redo the sample and every time you see where their mistake is write it down. Then when you have it All right, rewrite it so you can understand the instructions---in your language. I do that all the time my girls show me some thing new on this computer. Put it in a note book with other helpful hints dealing with QUILTING.

I have the exact same problem. I've made tons of quilts so I thought this would be EASY. I've cut out the pieces and cannot figure how to put them together. What's wrong with this picture?

I have this ruler and have never taken it out of the package. I did to look at the instructions and what the ???. It says Join fabric shapes sewing with 1/4" seam allowance, to create quilt top. LOL

On the back of the package the picture of the four quilt blocks may be an indication. Looks like each block was sewn in two pieces then the two pieces sewn together to make the block. It take four blocks to make the one block.

The finished block looks like a two colour twister, doesn't it. Now I know how to do the twister block, I don`t think I would ever cut out individual pieces. I usually like Omnigrid tools, but I would return this one.

Yes, that is very obvious, but no matter how I put them together, they don't make a square section. It's a strange puzzle and I can't seem to figure it out. Should be simple, but WOW.

All your fabrics would have to be cut with the same side up.--not folded.

Got it! I finally figured that out and it's going together beautifully. I hope I can use the other pieces that were cut on the opposite side making mirror images and make more blocks from them. I'll post a picture when I get the sample done.
