Congratulations, I think? Did you get a good deal? I did it with a featherweight and was thrilled. The person shipping it did a wonderful job packing the machine. And it was ready to use when it arrived. So I hope your machine will be everything you are looking for. So you can enjoy it. If not try and sell it on CraigsList. ;-)

Ok I am excited now. I talked to my Dad and he seems to think it will be a good machine. I might need to sell one of my others to make room for it, but that's a thought for another day. lol

That's a fabulous price for a 201! That model is a real workhorse too. Will be interested to hear how you like it when it comes.

Kathie you got yourself a great deal. Did it come with anything else? It's a great machine. I love all the old singer's. They're all work horses. Never have had any trouble with any one of them. Congrats!!

It is supposed to be coming with some accessories and some extra bobbins. I hope to get it by the first of the year. The great thing is my Dad should be able to work on it and make sure it runs properly and hopefully take care of anything that might need to be fixed.
