There is a place in Wisconsin that has hoops of different kinds.
    They are
    Hinterberg Design
    2805 East Progress Drive
    West Bend, WI 53095

As far as online fabric stores, I think my favorite one is
Ann's Fabric and Crafts in New Hampshire. The pictures of the fabric are good sized and I like their prices.

On the 100 x 100 with fat quarters, I figured that about 26 1/2 would equal that, but that is before sewing. I would get at least 32. Someone with better math skills than me might be able to call it more closely.

I prefer a lap hoop to a floor hoop -- more portable, and it still leaves both hands free for the quilting. Here is a link to my favorite hoop, and this company does ship internationally. It has great fabrics too!

One hint for a newbie: don't buy a hand quilting hoop that is very large. Your arm gets tired trying to reach across. A medium sized hoop is better.

Do you know Cotton-Color in Switzerland
    http://cotton-color.com/en/index.php?&currency=euro
I buy now & again from her - huge choice, prices around 13E
always has reduced fabrics. Wide range of notions, books etc and she has quilting lap, and floor, frames.
With shipping rates you may find no saving.

One of my favorites is Thousands of Bolts (www.thousandsofbolts.com/index.cfm). They ship international and prices start at $3.95 a yard. They also have a color matcher that is really helpful. All the fabric is first quality name brand. I've been very happy with everthing I've gotten from them.

Also try Desperate Quilters(www.desperatequilters.com/). Some sale as low as $3.00 a yard.

Some US fabric sites on-line quote prices for 1/2 yard instead of 1 yard so you need to watch out for that. I've made that mistake a few times.

    Good Luck!

Keepsake quilting offers international shipping (you can see the shipping charges in their Frequently Asked Questions section). They tack on $15 for Foreign Orders. I LOVE ordering from them because their fabric is represented very well on their website (and in their catalog). I have never been disappointed - they are not a cheap place though.

boah, this world is such a funny small place. I life a three quarter hour drive from cotton and color.............and that is the place I spend 64$ on a moda jelly roll. The roll is called "sleepy time" designed by Lori Gardner and as I cant find it on the net it must be a collection from some time back. Not that I mind that as I am a newbie, but the price!?

For jelly rolls you need to shop around. I've just bought 2 current range ones from UK £20 each - about 31USD, which I think is very reasonable.

I had the jelly rolls from the following - I telephoned her and she was happy to post to France. I had some Moda fabrics on sale as well for £5/metre.
