serial number is ak017728 and the spool pin is in the box of things he brought with it. the lever for the stitches does have duct tape on it. I didn't take it off to see what is going on under it. I am so so grateful for everyones opinion on this.

About $50... any more than that, don't expect it to sell.

Its a 1951 Singer 66-18 and $50 is a good price for one in that condition that needs servicing. I usually sell them fully serviced for $100 or so and if they are repaints then $250 depending on color used.

I wouldn't pay over 50.00 for it since it needs new wires, cleaning and refinishing.

I almost feel that I robbed someone. My featherweight, no table, but attachments, sewed like a dream, very clean. sold at my sale for $265. When I see the prices here I almost feel I cheated someone. Have no idea what model or year. Marge L.

Yes, but what this is, is not a Featherweight. You didn't rob anyone selling a FW for that amount.
