Wow! I am sooo pleased. I picked up a new tool at the Lancaster Quilts show in March called "The Binding TooL" and just tried it out tonight. It works wonderfully. When I would do binding, I could never get the part where you finish and start to match up nicely and lay flat. It was always very obvious where that area was joined. With this tool, it was very easy and came out perfectly. The tool and demo by the Missouri Quilt Company can be seen here. (I would recommend watching the demo several times after you get the tool and before you do it for the first time.

I am just so excited at how nicely it worked! Now I just need to try the Master Curve foot I got at the same show and see if it works as promised.

one of the quilt shop owners came to our quilting guild and demonstrated the master curve foot and was so cool, I haven't bought one yet, she sold out and later went to her shop and was sold out

WOW..I just spent over half an hour watching all their fun videos. I have been taught how to do this type of binding, by marking on my own, and then putting it together and sewing, but I WANT this tool. It will make it so much easier, and more accurate. Love the looks of this. I have added this company to my favorites..thank you so much. Joanie

I once saw on a "Paid Program" an instructor asking everyone: "If you could have as much money as you wanted, what would you wish for?"
The girl answered, "Enough money to buy all the $19.99 things I see on the info commercials!" I would add: "Enough money to buy all the notions and material and patterns for quilting I see and want, don't forget the featherweight! Also to have my house paid off!" |
I got the Binding tool at Christmas. I haven't tried it yet. I need to get it out an watch the demo's
