Do you listen to music while you sew? Any certain types you enjoy listening to while you sew that you might not typically listen to? Share!

usually not. I sometimes will watch tv on the computer but most times I have nothing on so I can hear the kids. Now that its hot they can go to the pool and I leave the window open so I can hear them and check on them frequently.

I listen to music in my sewing room usually something upbeat, sometimes country, sometimes rock, sometimes CD's, and i get more done, In the quilting room I have found that good music with a good ... flow ... to it really helps my quilting be smoother, it flows with the music.:)
smooth jazz, lots of instrumentals are good to quilt to with the long arm, it has to be something you really like though because you have to have it up loud to hear it over the machine ;) |
I listen to it all day at work, so I kind of like the quiet! Or something on tv.

I love music when I sew. I boot up Pandora on my computer and listen to soothing music when I piece and the Beach Boys and such when I quilt.

Most of the time I have the I-Pod playing with my Christian Music going. Sometime a mix playlist sometimes a specific artist.
Sometimes the I-pod is on full random and I get to hear a lot of country, some latin, some harder Christian rock than I want to hear (my kids have all loaded all of their music on our I-pod) Right now it is on a mix of Christian Music. |
My iPod has at last count 10 continuous days of music on it.
Irish, rock, folk, latin, old swing and standards, bebop and later jazz, right now listening to Dvorak on Pandora. (cause it's still technically my work day, though I am done.) I've been listening to a lot of Cuban music lately while I quilt. It's among my favorites. |
Soft rock, classical rock, easy listening and my CD's.

Nope just the hum of my machine and all the thoughts of more quilts rambling around in my head.
