I only have a 6.5" but what I *DO* need is a larger cutting mat. The 12x18 works good for most jobs...but then you get to the 12.5" blocks and you're in a pickle...

20.5" Creative Grids.
It's not one I use often, but when I need it I'm thrilled that I went ahead and got it.

The square ruler can be a real time saver. I'm now using a 12.5" one for squaring some blocks. I also have the new 12.5" from Omnigrid. It is awesome. Not sure how I will use it but would be good for cutting fat quarters.

It's an Omnigrip 20.5 I bought it for my friend (because I wanted to be able to borrow it) She gave up quilting and gave it back to me along with her stash!!!

Amen, that's how I've purchased all my larger rulers... $26.99 depending on the brand for a 12.5" ruler was outrageous... so I bought the ruler pack that had them all for about $32.99 that included the 12.5" ruler and all other smaller ones down with a 50% off coupon off the one item, another 10% off my total order coupon, and my 10% VIP Discount for 70% off - and I was a very happy camper!
With regards to the question, my largest right now is 12.5" but at some point I will pick up a few that are larger as I have some projects where they would be very useful to have.
Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!
