I have a few JoAnn coupons for 40-50% off any regular price item. Everything in the store is on sale, so what good are these coupons?

    Am I missing something?

I have that same problem!!!! I have left the store in a huff, swearing never to go back. It just makes you want to buy something you don't really need.

I think that's the idea. I don't even bother to clip and take them with me anymore.

I decorate cakes and so those coupons come in REALLY handy. It is very rare that Jo-Anns has their cake decorating supplies on sale. I go through quite a bit of meringue powder and at $18.00 a can, it really adds up. Having those coupons are a real benefit. However, it is rare that I end up using them on my quilting supplies.

If I'm reading the fine print correctly, on my paper coupons, most of Joann's coupons are for regular priced items unless they specifically say good on sale items.

I think they specifically put things on sale so that you can't use the coupons. GRRR.

Yeah - it's just a gimmick to get us into the store. They're not worth the paper they're printed on.

Not all of the fabrics have been on sale when I go in, or their batting, quilting supplies... I pick and choose what to get on each trip there

    I have a complaint - Darn It!

I have a 40% coupon code for Joann's online which states that it is for One Regular Priced Item.

Last night I wanted to order several things, most of my selected items were on sale for 30% off, however two of the items were at Regular price. When I entered the coupon code at checkout, it would not apply the coupon to one the Regular priced items, ONLY to one the items which were already at 30% off. So one sale item went from 30 to 40% off and left the Regular priced item at Regular price. This was to my disadvantage, so I cancelled the entire order.

    ):

If you sign up for the mailed ones, you occasionally get a coupon for 10% off your entire purchase, those are really nice. Otherwise, i pickand choose. I at least always have one in my purse, Just In Case!
