l wouldn't bother buying the ruler...l'd draw a template ( or 2) on cardboard, trace & cut w/scissors . Then l'd use it to trace on the fabric with misty fuse on the back...cut out with scissors & applique it on to the blocks.

I bought this ruler because so many different type of quilted items can be made with totally different looks. Unfortunately, I haven't used it yet. Working on a block of the month ... during "MY" sewing/quilting time.

I have a similar ruler with more arcs (basically parts of circles with different radii) that I got at least 10 years ago -- similar to this one: http://smile.amazon.com/June-Tailor-...s=circle+ruler (I think JA's carries it) . I found the 28mm or 18mm rotary cutter works best when cutting the arcs (be careful not to run into the plastic as it can nick up the blade) . When sewing, remember you are in bias central with those arcs.
