Quilt book dilemma
#1
I am a new quilter. I ordered a book from a book club I belong to.
501 RotaryCut Quilt Blocks by Judy Hopkins. It has color pictures, templates and six different finished sizes for each block.
You have to figure out how much fabric you would need, and how to put the quilt blocks together. Would this be difficult? I don't know if I should send it back or keep it and use it after I have made a few quilts. The price of the book was $13.00

I would get a book more dedicated for beginers and save that one for later. Once you learn how to assemble blocks you will understand the book. My mom gave me that book and I use it all the time. Give yourself time to learn more.

I started with "Quilts, Quilts. Quilts" but there are lots of wonderful books out there. Each one has a different focus.
Just like a fabric stash - there will be a book stash at some point.
...and yes, the 501 blocks is a great resource.
